11-3-08 Week in Review

The big new this week is that Obama was elected president...not that it surprised anyone but he has a to work a few miracles now to live up to all the hype. I'm quite disappointed that the media has turned his election into a race thing. Before he was elected it wasn't mentioned much. These days we are so proud of ourselves as a nation because we are 'taking a step forward'. What about the fact that we didn't elect the oldest president? Isn't that age discrimination? What about the fact that we couldn't elect the first woman as VP? Isn't that sex discrimination? So I guess we took a step forward but maybe one back as well.

OK, on to stuff that is more interesting. I got to spend a few days in Des Monies this week. Other than that I left Ardor know that Jodi and I were changing churches. It's not easy but progress never is. I finished rebuilding my subs. They sound lots better now. Finally, I saw Metallica last night with the bands The Sword and Down. They really went back to their roots not playing much of that lame Load/Re-Load stuff. It was a fun time.
